About the University

KSU named after Sh. Ualikhanov is the leading university for more than 62 years, playing a key role in the higher education system of the region. Over the years, the university has trained more than 50,000 highly qualified specialists for various sectors of Kazakhstan.

The university’s educational portfolio includes 83 bachelor’s degree programs, 44 master’s degree programs and 10 doctoral programs. KSU is ranked 640th in Asia & 41st in Central Asia according to QS Global Ranking.

The University actively implements international educational and scientific projects within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA1 ICM, Erasmus+ KA2 CBHE programs, the American UniCen projects and the British InterLinks project . Particular attention is paid to the development of academic mobility, international cooperation and double-degree education program.
